8th Annual Heirloom Plant Sale
March 2, 2017Young tomato plants for the upcoming sale |
Winter seems to drag on longer each year, but we’ve turned the corner, and Spring is finally in sight. Unfortunately, in Colorado, Spring means; broken branches, sore backs and frustrating commutes thanks in part to 2 of our top three snowiest months of the year (March and April). So much for optimism, eh?
That being said, now is the perfect time for me to get you excited about this year’s tomato and pepper growing season. I’ve selected some fantastic new tomato varieties as well as many of the staples you’ve grown to love.
I have also dedicated myself to providing numerous unique pepper varieties. From sweet to heat these things will turn heads. For all you heat-seekers out there I have added Super Hots to my repertoire. This distinguished group of peppers all share one thing in common: at one point each of them was, or is, the hottest pepper in the world. Excited yet?
I will sell plants over the course of two weekends. One weekend in a Denver location and the second weekend at an Aurora location (which is yet to be determined). Check below for sale dates, times and locations and be sure to check out my list of this year’s available plants. See you in May!
